App update failure via RuStore

Update errors and failures may occur during the upgrade process. In most cases, the errors are typically related to:

  1. Device connection to the Internet.
  2. Availability of free device memory.
  3. Installation from unknown sources is prohibited.
  4. The Android version is not supported.

If the app update fails:

  1. Disconnect and reconnect the device to your Wi-Fi network or mobile data.
  2. Delete extra data from the internal storage and on the microSD card if you run out of memory.
  3. In the device settings, allow the installation of unknown applications.
  4. Update Android to the latest version. For some applications, the Android version is essential.

One of the reasons why an app update fails is version incompatibility. It may occur if you have installed an application on your device from another store. Delete the current version and reinstall the app from RuStore to update the app.
