Check app security

You can check all installed applications on your device for free using Kaspersky Virus Scanner.

warning

An automatic security check starts at night. If the device is turned off, the check will start immediately after turning it on.

How to start an automatic check

For new users:

1. Log in to RuStore.
2. You'll find a notification about scanning using Kaspersky Virus Scanner on the main app menu.
3. Click Continue.

You can skip the authorization and run the check manually later.

Once the app is installed:

1. Update RuStore.
2. You'll find a notification about scanning using Kaspersky Virus Scanner on the main app menu.
3. Click Continue.

How to run a manual check

Both authorized and non-authorized RuStore users can start the check manually.

1. Click on your profile icon on the bottom menu.
2. Click on your account icon.
3. Go to the Security section.
4. Click Scan.

If you are not logged in, go to the Account section.

How to uninstall unsafe apps

Upon the check is completed, you can see a list of unsafe apps on your device and remove them whenever so required. We recommend that you remove the apps only if the virus scanner finds something suspicious.

1. Click on RuStore on your device's home screen.
2. Look for a message about the check results.
3. Click View.
4. Open the list of malicious applications.
5. Find the application you want to uninstall.
6. Click Remove, then select Allow in the drop-down window.
